Freemasonry is a post-collegiate fraternity dedicated to the spiritual development of the initiate into a broader sense of the self, how they relate to the Divine and their contributory role in the world. It conveys this message through a series of progressive degrees initiating the candidate into a deeper level of understanding and membership. Ultimately, the raised Master Mason is given the allegorical tools to further work on an develop their Masonic intuition.
Fraternity
The largest and oldest secular fraternal order in the world, Freemasonry crosses all religious boundaries to bring together individuals of all countries, sects, and opinion in peace and harmony to work towards the betterment of all mankind. A universal brotherhood, Freemasonry is dedicated to serving the divine through service to family, country, and humankind.
Philosophy
Freemasonry is a philosophical organization emphasizing the study of moral symbols to build character in its participants. This education is the foundation of a more profound understanding of mankind and his existence in society. Living today in a “throw away society”, Freemasonry teaches about the value of history, freedom, and charity (ultimate perfection of the human spirit) towards all mankind.
Spiritual
The real nature of Freemasonry is a spiritual force behind each member, improving themselves morally by associating with other like-minded individuals. Also, Freemasonry acts as a social organization, promoting the interaction between like-minded members within the lodge to build friendly bonds between them. By fostering this brotherhood, relationships are made such that even meeting outside of the comforts of the lodge the bonds remain and genuine affection prevails. Wherever traveling, masons meet and greet other masons as brothers as a result of these bonds.

I saw a two hour documentary on the history Channel last weekend. It detailed some of the history of Freemasons and the history of the United States. They focussed a lot on Benjamin Franklin and some on George Washington. It sparked my interest a bit. We have a lodge here in Fort Wayne and I have been wondering what it is all about. So I googled and here I am. Feel free to email me.

i just want to say that i thank the lord God for masonry. before i became a mason as a young man i had no ideal of the future that was before me with all of its intells of life. i started when i was 20 yrs old now i’m 56 yrs old. the places i’ve been and the people i’ve met along the way have been just a blessing to me. i just want to say for the record there are still brothers out here that are who they say according to their obligation and mean what they say. the climate in this country has change based on different beliefs of hate and saying, many that are not true. but those of us who are willing to keep moving, masonry will continue to hold its part in history as it has heretofore. i want to say to all masonic brother to hold on

Hey…see I just started reading up on Masons and to tell u the truth I thought it was a bunch of bull….then I started reading the Black Biblical Heritage, and it opened my eyes a lil wider. I have a friend that is a Mason and he never said anything to me about it. So one day I asked and he shared what he said were “the things he could” and it egnited my interest like a fuse. I just don’t see how ppl can say freemasonry is a practice of devil worshipers. I think ppl are afraid of what they don’t know. “ASK12B1”
If there are any Masons that would like to share more information please email me. Mikeyoungcaliepps@gmail.com

Raising millions of dollars a day for charity, asking nothing in return, is certainly satanic and a great way to take over the world. Freemasons are a fraternity, not a religion, but to be a member you must believe in God.
Scott Julien, FC Mason says
A few mentioned the interest in becoming a Brother. The best way to find a Lodge is to Google the Grand Lodge in your state or wherever you reside. The Grand Lodge will be able to direct you to a regular Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons in your city or town and they may have a website. Lodges usually have standing meetings that regularly occur. You can also e-mail or call the Lodge Secretary regarding your interest. As Tomas Benson metioned above, you must believe in God. You must also be ready to dedicate and commit fully to something far greater than any individual self.

Yes Freemasonry has been accused of all sorts of crimes and worship of Satan, Lucifer and all sorts of beings. As far isabelle she is fundamentaly wrong, as was the reverend Hannah Walton. I am a practicing christian and a freemason. the two are not incompatable.
miraji R. Mgonja says
Freemasonry is nothing but a religion of the devil. Why the hell should one need to be a Freemason? In my view, been a Freemason is like one who was shown Hell and Heaven to choose one, surprisingly he chose Hell!
I will never choose to be one!
Edward says
I have come across people who claim that every religious practice that isnt there’s is Devil Worship. Freemasonry is not, and never has been a religion. We are a secular Fraternity that accepts a mans religion is his choice. and how he practices it is his own buisness
Being a Freemason is my choice and one I dont regret, what I regret is people who are intolerant, bigotted and full of hate claiming that they are doing the work of the lord.
But well said Bro Smith

The devil has so many ways of deceiving people, and if u see lucifer he is so innocent dat u will think he cant hurt a fly.but he is destruction,he is darkness,he will make u think u are doing the right thing.so any one who deside to follow him willingly is an enermy of GOD.this is the end time and his servants are everywhere all over the world.so freemason could be the beginning of antichrist.so dont be deceived for the devil will come to u like a good friend just to get u.so dont even think of following him now because of richies and later u will repent, for u will never leave.a second is too much death will take u.so serve the lord with your full mind and carry your cross daily, for the Holy cross is easy to bear than the pains of hell. ro in order not to get confuse and fall, worship in your church alone, for your miracle is in your hands but u dont know how to use it,and be awarel of false churches.pray hard for that is your only weapon.(through the rosary and the scapular i will save the world)the promise of the mother of our lord.all to JESUS through MARY our mother

Hi I am a member of narcotics anonymous and believe in service charity and self improvement with a brotherhood I don’t believe that I am an addict anymore but regarding myself as continually improving with a loving and caring universal energy that I would call god must be a good thing. It sounds like many of the free masons principals are similar. All inclusive regardless of age race sexual identity creed religion or lack of religion. I have showed an interest in the masons and have been asked to join with a member for a cup of tea I would love to be a part of this fellowship strength in unity!!! I just wonder what they want from me?
I seem to be naturally attracted to things attached to the masons and what will be will be
I do feel that N.A has its limits and am trying to move on from it as I enjoy a glass of wine on occasion and no longer fit in with there beliefs.

I am a freemason and I can assure you there is much more about freemasonry that put you in a different dimension than what the person on street thinks. It has nothing to do with the devil or anything it is just pure science and geometry, but only those with an open mind will be able to see it. So anyone interested to experience masonry in the esoteric level feel free to contact your nearest lodge.

It’s common knowledge in the internet age that Free Masons are Lucerferien based cults at the higher levels and that the lower levels have been hoodwinked into thinking everything is above board. To give your allegiance to Lucifer under oath is the greatest sell out and deception known to mankind.
Greg says
Steve Searle… and any other misguided individuals.
I am a 3rd degree Master Mason, a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason, a Masonic Knight Templar (which if you do it by degrees would be 9th degree York Rite), and I am a Christian. In all of the degrees that I have experienced and obligated myself to, I have NEVER sworn to Lucifer, Satan, or any entity that is against my faith. I have only obligated to my God and Saviour.
We eat together before every meal, and we pray to our God and His Son, Jesus to bless our meal. At every meeting we pray before we start our meeting and before we close our meeting to my God and His Son, Jesus, again. We have an opened, King James version Holy Bible on our lodge altar at every meeting.
We do not discuss religion or politics in our opened meeting because history tells us that these two topics cause more arguments then any other. And we value an individuals choice to decide for himself who he worships and who he elects to lead.
Now, outside of the meeting we can talk about anything. So if there is anyone present that wants to know more about my faith then I am happy to talk to him about it.
Personally, I’ve had more opportunity to fellowship, talk, and learn about my faith with other Christian men of my lodge than I have ever had through my church. Also, the men in my lodge or more transparent with their actions and do not hide behind their weekend Christian “faith” like most non-masonic Christians I’ve known.
Maybe before judging others about something you really know nothing about (except the nonsense you read on the internet) you should read Matthew 7 and follow the advice there about getting your own relationship with Christ to a perfect relationship before judging others. And we both know that no matter what you do you will never reach that “perfect” relationship while you are human and on this earth.

“Raising millions of dollars a day for charity, asking nothing in return, is certainly satanic and a great way to take over the world. Freemasons are a fraternity, not a religion, but to be a member you must believe in God.”
1st… you MISSTATED your case in the LAST SENTENCE… ” but to be a member you must believe in (A/ANY) God.” Not “THE ONE AND ONLY GOD”!!!
I can take my oath to allah (who is NOT GOD) if i desire!!!
2 Corinthians 11;12-15
“12 And I will keep on doing what I am doing in order to cut the ground from under those who want an opportunity to be considered equal with us in the things they boast about. 13 For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an ANGEL OF LIGHT. 15 It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.”
Masonry is a great deception of the devil… “Salvation by Works”… of which there is NO SUCH THING as Christ said…
John 14:16
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER except through (By the ATONING BLOOD OF CHRIST… THE UNBLEMISHED LAMB OF GOD) me.”
Mason’s are DECEIVED!!!
Alex says
Guys. I’m not even a freemason, and I’m here to tell you that it’s NOT SATANIC. Freemasonry as an organization has no affiliation with religion, and many of them are practicing Christians. So stop with the conspiracy stuff, okay? It is not cool.
