I stumbled across this and thought it an amusing look back at the decade that was. This goes back a ways to 2008, Beyond Belief on Fox News’ Hanity’s America about “The Freemasonry…”

Definitely interesting mix use of art and Meltzer giving his 2 cents. Pentagrams, owls, and squares and compasses….oh my – barely enough show to hold all the conspiracy theories. Its definitely Beyond Belief!
It wasn’t a bad piece until the final :30 seconds when they started into the DC map question. I grew up outside DC and lived on Capitol Hill for nearly 4 years while working at the Smithsonian – every major building in the region built post-Revolution through the turn-of-the-century had a Masonic ceremony at the laying of the cornerstone and if you actually look at a street map of DC, the streets they say form Masonic symbols don’t actually connect and have never connected in the way they depict. But you have to love the assumption that because it appears there are Masonic symbols in the street design, Masons knew air travel would exist! And yes, I travel.
I myself saw a show on The History Channel a few months ago on the masons and they had explain the symbols that suppose to be the layout of the capital but life is a box of chocolates you don’t know what you going to get, be bless people moving forward.
